Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Demco 13 inch right hand hydraulic drum break assembly. This is designed for use with your surge type trailer brake actuators. It is going to be 13 inches in diameter. That's measured from one brake shoe to the other and then the shoes are two and a half inches wide. So this will work for your 16 inch up to 22 and a half inch wheel sizes.
This will be for your right hand or passenger side. You can see its got right printed on it. So make sure that you're getting the correct one for your setup and needs. The mounting flange bolt pattern is going to be four on four inches. The mounting bolts are sold separately.
This does have a single-plunger design that's going to deliver 15 to 20% breaking in reverse. The riveted brake shoes do provide increased durability for us. And we also are going to have the manual adjustment with the adjustment gear down here. So you are going to have to periodically adjust that manually to ensure the proper fit and tension. This does have a sturdy corrosion resistant steel construction.
We do have stainless steel spring hardware and our zinc plated wheel cylinder here. So it is going to be very durable and long-lasting for us. It's made here in the USA. So you can trust it's made to the high quality standards that we've come to know and trust for products that are made here in the US. So if you are needing a 13 inch diameter right hand break assembly, it's gonna do a great job for you.
That completes our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
