Hi, there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at these Curt replacement gears. These are going to replace the gears and shear pins for your Curt heavy duty direct-weld square jack. Model number 2-8-5-7-5. So if you do have that Curt jack this is gonna be a direct replacement from Curt for those gears.
So that you can get your jack up and operational again. This kit is going to include the 1 5/16 inch diameter gear there. Try and get that in to the shot for you. So, the smaller one is right about 1 5/16 of an inch. The larger gear is closer to that 1 11/16 of an inch.
So if you are needing to replace those gears or shear pins for your jack, this is a direct replacement from Curt. So you can trust it's gonna fit right in. You're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues or anything like that. These are gonna be a direct replacement for the originals. So you'll get your jack up and operational again.

Without knowing what kind of jack it is it's hard to say if this is the correct replacement. These are designed to fit the 28575 heavy-duty direct-weld square jack from Curt. Sometimes gears cross over between brands but there is no way to be sure.

I am surprised that the gears did not last. I wanted to see if you could explain more with what happened with them.
