Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a brief look at this CURT replacement handle. This is going to replace the handle for your CURT crosswing fifth wheel hitch. And on your screen, I am including the model numbers of that fifth wheel hitch along with a photo showing you where this handle gets installed. And this includes everything that you are going to need for a complete replacement. You're going to get one handle, one bearing, one spring, one shoulder screw, and then you're going to get this wire lock pin and two key rings and then this twisted link chain. And then you're going to get this instruction manual which is basically just a sheet going over the parts like what we did here, and going over the very simple installation process.
So, this handle is exactly like the one that you are needing to replace. - How Often Should I Torque The Bolts On The Curt CrossWing 5th Wheel Hitch?Not a silly question at all Jim because there is definitely some grey area there. Assuming you did torque all of the bolts correctly when the hitch was installed, the next time I would check/torque them would be before your trip. In this context, I would not consider backing up a few times "using" the hitch. For sake of clarity, perhaps it would be more accurate to say "torque all bolts to spec before towing any significant distances". Generally, the shock/movement from going over the road...
