These 1,000-lb capacity truck bed rail tie down anchors stay out of the way when you don't need them and snap up when you want to haul. They give tie downs a better angle of pull than factory anchors and are easier to reach.

If you have pop-out rail caps you can install the anchors in seconds. All you have to do is pop the caps off using a flat head screwdriver, insert the anchors into the stake pockets, and tighten them down with a Phillips head screwdriver.
If you have truck bed rails with hidden stake pockets that don't have pop-out rail caps, a router and a drill with a 1/2" bit (not included) are required to install the anchors.
The router bit (sold separately) lets you perfectly trim the caps without damaging your truck bed. To install the anchors, drill a 1/2" hole in the center of each rail cap and use the router to make the cuts. The router bit has 4 roller bearings that guide the router around the inner steel pocket to prevent overcutting the surface of your bedrails. Cut around each perimeter several times so that all the plastic residue resulting from the cuts gets trimmed away. Once the caps have been trimmed you can install the anchors.
If you have rear stake pockets with an inner plastic shaft, use a router with the rotary pocket saw bit (sold separately) to remove it.

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this set of bullring retractable truck bed stake pocket tie down anchors. These are heavy duty anchors that will install in the stake pockets on the top of your bed rails to provide a nice secure tie down point for securing your load. These are going to be easier to reach on your bed rails than the factory anchor points that are inside of your bed, so it's gonna be much easier for you to get your load secured by attaching to these. These are designed specifically for your 2009 and newer Dodge Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 trucks. These aren't gonna work with your dually beds, but as long as you don't have a dually bed, this will work for your Ram.
This set of six is designed to allow you to use your front, middle and rear stake pockets on your eight foot bed. We also have a four pack available if you don't have an eight foot bed, or if you're not wanting to use all six of your stake pockets, you can get that set instead. It's gonna be the exact same thing, just four instead of the six. So all of these are going to have these durable stainless steel rings that will work with your S hooks or J hook connections. These are going to be very strong with that stainless steel construction.
So they're gonna provide a 1000 pound weight capacity. They're also going to resist rust and corrosion, so they're gonna hold up really well for you. We do have a glass reinforced nylon lower body that's going to help dampen sound, so it's gonna give you a nice quiet operation. Your grained plastic here is gonna sit just above the rail cap. So it's almost a flush finish, but not quite.
This is designed to match the grain color and UV rating of your OEM rail caps. So it should blend right in, look very nice for you. These are a retractable design, so when you're not using them, you can just snap them in. It's going to use gravity to lower those in place, so you have more of a 'out of sight' look there. And then when you're ready to use them, just simply pull them out and it'll snap into place so it's easier for you to get hooked up to.
These are going to install fairly easily. You will need to trim your rail cap for proper installation. I do recommend using the two tools that you see on the screen there to make that an easier process to get your rail cap trimmed. And you'll just hook those up to your router and open up that hole. Once it's opened up, you'll just remove the screws here and that's going to allow it to drop down, so you have a little bit more room to work with, to get this fed into your stake pocket. And once it's in there, you'll pull up on the ring. That's going to allow our anchor here to catch on the sheet metal of your truck. And that's gonna give you that nice secure connection. Once you have it pulled up and secure you just pass or tighten those screws back down and it'll be ready to operate with that firm connection to your truck's side rails. This does come with a limit lifetime warranty, comes with a lifetime warranty. So if you we're to have any issues with it you're more than welcome to reach out to us here at etrailer.com. But I think this is gonna be a really nice way of giving you a very easy to access anchor points that you can very easily secure your load. And then when you're not wanting to use it just simply let those rings fall through. It's gonna be give you more of a clean look then you would have if they we're all up.
