Hi, there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at these Adarac Load Stops. This set is going to give you two of these five inch tall bookend style load stops that will help prevent your load from shifting, and will act as a peg for your ladders. These are designed specifically for your first generation Adarac Truck Bed Ladder Rack that has the inch and a quarter square solid steel crossbar without mounting channels. These will allow you to adjust along the length of those crossbars to fit your cargo, so you can move the load dividers according to the size of your load.
The carriage bolts and locking nuts will then allow you to tighten the dividers securely in place, so that they will stay where you put them, where you need them to be. These are made here in the USA of a durable rustproof, aluminum construction, so they will hold up well for you. And again, provide that stability, make sure that your load is gonna stay in place. You're not gonna have to worry about it sliding off as you're traveling down the road. That completes our look for today.

I recently purchased 2 sets of load stops to keep my kayaks from shifting while transporting. Order arrived within a few days. My only concern was the bare metal would mark up the sides of the boats,so I cut a 2"piece of heavy electrical shrink tubing for each one then I sprayed the load stops with plasti dip rubber coating. Works fine without damage to the boats

These load stops are perfect. I use them mostly for my ladders but they come in handy for anything I load on my rack. Easy to adjust, and can take them off and on with ease. I did what another reviewer suggested and sprayed liquid rubber on the upper stops. Works great and they hold strong.

Doesn’t fit my Adarac ladder rack. It attaches to a 1 1/4” top bar, the rack I have is 1 1/2’ wide top bar. So needless to say I’m very disappointed it doesn’t stipulate there are different top bar sizes.

The load stops you will need for a cross bar that is 1 1/2 inches wide is part # A4000880.

The stops do the job they're designed for, but I think they should have knob handles instead of stop nuts for tightening. (No tools required)

I used them to secure an 11ft jon boat on top of my pop up camper. A year later, and after a few camping trips, the load stops have held strong and havent moved out of position. Good product, good results.

The load dividers are a must with the Adarac truck rack. Having them gives security that ladders won't shift. Highly recommend this product!!

Still going strong after a year. I have strapped some heavy loads from time to time and these load stops have kept the loads where i place them and hold strong. Very happy i was able to add these to my rack.
