- Zinc-plated steel snap hook attaches to your boat's bow
- Built-in keeper prevents hook from disconnecting

Note: Winch straps should always be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The item being towed must not exceed the WLL of the strap being used. To determine the maximum load, or break strength, of the tow strap, simply multiply the WLL by 3. The WLL is always one-third (1/3) of the maximum load.

This winch strap was 3 times thicker than the one that came with my boat trailer (probably why it broke, OEM cheap junk). It completely fills up the winch spool, if it had been any longer, it would not have fit. Great looking product, feels heavy duty & much stronger. The forged hook was nice - it has a bit larger mouth opening on it and is a better fit on my boat eye. Overall this looks like it will be the last winch strap I will ever have to put on my boat winch!

The winch strap is very well made and very strong. However, because the strap is 2 to 3 times thicker than the regular wench straps, it would just barely fit on the winch spool,and only when wound tight under load. If the strap were 20' long instead of 25' I believe it would be a good fit on most winches.

This is the strongest strap I have seen available. 8,000 lb rating. However due to the thickness, and at 25’, its a very difficult fit on the winch. I purchased a Dutton Lainson DL3200A winch and this strap BARELY made it on the winch drum without falling over the sides. It is a great strap but is a close call to fitting on most winches due to its heavy thickness. If you need the strongest strap made this is it. Make sure your winch is capable of 25’ of strap if you choose to use it.

This winch strap is very high quality and very flexible. Just a word of caution, I ordered the 25 footer and it barely fit within the confines of my winch due to it being much thicker than an ordinary winch strap. I love this winch strap and have no question it will last as long as the winch and trailer if maintained.

I Found that in actual use the thickness when attempting to winch a boat onto the trailer the thickness forced the winch brake mechanism to apply the brake. I had to remove brake parts from the winch and then cut five feet off the strap and have it a new loop stitched at a leather works shop. This made the strap a usable length for the winch.
