Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Blue Ox accessory kit. This kit is going to help you get started using your tow bar and two-inch receiver for flat towing your vehicle behind your RV. This is going to include this coiled cable that will easily connect your towed vehicle to your RV. It includes this six-way round female plug that will mount onto your towed vehicle for a quick, easy hookup and just plug in the one side to your vehicle, and the other side to your RV.

This is a coiled cable that can be expanded up to about seven feet. So it's still going to give you a nice, strong connection even if you're taking turns and that sort of thing, but it's coiled to help prevent dragging and tangling. It is silicone-encased wire, so it is going to provide great connection and prevent corrosion for you. We are going to get this three-piece lock set. So you're gonna get these two half-inch diameter base plate locks that will replace the pins that hold your tow bars to your base plates on your vehicle.

We're also going to get one 5/8 inch diameter receiver lock. So this is gonna hold your tow bar to your RV's hitch receiver. These all are going to have a rubber cap here on the end. That's going to cover that lock core so that you can prevent any dirt and debris from getting in there and gunking up the works. And then you're gonna get these six keys.

They're all keyed alike, so those keys will work for all of those. So very easy to just keep one set on hand to unlock both your receiver lock and your base plate locks, and then you'll have some backups in the future, if you we're to ever lose them. All three locks are going to have a span of two and three-quarters of an inch. They are constructed of a forged and machine-hardened steel with a chrome finish, so it's gonna resist rust and corrosion. So these are gonna do a great job of securing your tow bar to your tow vehicle and to your RV.

So you're not gonna have to worry about anyone coming along and disconnecting it when you don't want it to be disconnected. You're also going to get this single pull immobilizer which is gonna help keep your hitch-mounted accessories stable and secure, so your tow bar isn't gonna be rattling around inside your receiver tube. So this will mount very quickly and easily, just a couple nuts there on the end that will fit this in place. So this will sit on top of your receiver tube and then the bottom part will stick out in front of it. And then as you tighten it down, it's going to take up any wiggle from your tow bar inside your receiver tube. So it is going to stiffen and reinforce to eliminate that rattle and sway for your hitch receiver. And then you're also going to get this heavy-duty vinyl-coated fabric cover to help protect your tow bar from the elements. Very simple to undo that hook loop there, slide that over your tow bar arms, and then put that hook loop strip back so that you have a nice cover to prevent any moisture and dirt debris, that sort of thing from getting on your tow bar to help make it last much longer for you. So if you are looking for a good starter kit, help to secure your tow bar, make sure you have that connection for your towed vehicle's lights, take out some of that rattle, and protect your tow bar when you're not connected.
