Made a nice little trailer to haul wife’s golf cart!

by:

Good kit with the necessary parts to replace leaf spring suspension. I welded the hangers rather than bolting them. The parts are not coated for the price point so you will need to paint them or they will rust immediately.

by:

I have been doing business with etrailer for several years and there deliveries, service and products are the best out there.

by:

A good source for trailer parts. For finding parts, you need to know the specs of the trailer, not necessarily the manufacturer. Thanks etrailer!

by:

Everything was just as I ordered it and it fits like a glove

by:

All businesses should be like etrailer! The gal was so kind and knowledgeable to help my husband get the right leaf spring replacements. We ordered a tire last spring and the same, excellent service and prompt delivery. Thanks so much

by:

I inherited an aluminum trailer that ended up needing a complete overhaul and etrailer was the best resource I could have found. After researching extensively to find out what I needed and watching their videos on how to do it I ended up ordering an EZ-lube axle, galvanized hubs, springs and a hanger kit (in other words everything from the frame down).
Everything shipped quickly and arrived in great shape. All the parts worked perfectly and I couldn't be happier!

by:

Received my parts today and after examining everything all looks good.
The quality of parts looks excellent and can't wait to start installing them.
Shipping was fast and arrived as they said.
Great company to buy with.
Will was very helpful and very knowledgeable about parts.
If you call would definitely ask for Will.

by:

Great product. Exactly what we needed

by:

Great service, great value

by:

Springs & hanger kit worked well.

by:

Product arrived just as described and very quickly. This kit was a great way to drop the springs on our trailer enough for the axle to be put on correctly.

by:

Quick shipping.......reasonable prices

by:

The axle hanger kit arrived today. I have done a dry setup; everything fits as expected.

Thanks for your excellent product and prompt delivery.

Very good product, and Im very satisfied thank you

by:

my order arrived well packaged.
the parts
are every bit as good as OEM and went together nicely.

by:

Worked great on my 5x10 utility trailer

by:

I had to email customer service as I bracket was folded incorrectly so that the bolt holes did not line up. Upon recieveing my email, a replacement was on the way! EXCELLENT customer service. Thank you etrailer.

by:

The hangers look good and I believe they will do a great job. I need to move my axle back on my trailer so it will be able to haul some weight. It is a dump style body and can't handle weight, only on the front of the trailer. So I am going to move the axle back about 6 to 8 inches. The tracking info on the kit was great... ALL gratitude goes to your company...

  • How To Determine Correct Hanger Spacing with Single-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit for Double-Eye Springs
In regards to the Single-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit for Double-Eye Springs part # APS4, we only have measurements available for select leaf springs such as the 3-Leaf Double-Eye Spring part # e84SR which is for 2,000 lbs axles. If these were the springs that were being used then the hangers would need to be spaced apart 20" on center. If you are using a different leaf spring which is the case here then you would need to mock the hangers up on the trailer with the leaf spring to find the...

  • How is the Height Measured on Trailer Suspension Hanger 93003-3X

  • 89 inch 3,500 lb Trailer Axle, Suspension and Hangers for Utility Trailer
We do have 89 inch 3,500 lb trailer axles that come with idler hubs like the part # e65GR which is a straight axle or the part # e72GR which is a 4 inch drop axle. Both of these have their spring seats at 74 inches apart on center. Then for a leaf spring the part # e68SR is for a 3,500 lb axle and would work great. For a u-bolt kit to secure the axle to the leaf springs you'd want the part # APUBR-1 and for a single axle hanger kit with everything else needed you'd want the part # APS4. For...

  • Availability of 26 inch Long Trailer Axle Leaf Spring for 2,000 lb Axle
The 1-3/4 inch spring width is the most common width seen on trailers. Yours being 2 inch is pretty rare but possible. We don't have anything that matches your length and capacity but we do have the part # e77SR which is 26 inches long, for a 2,000 lb axle but is 1-3/4 inches wide. To use this you could use 1/4 inch thick washers on your current hanger bolt to take up the extra room or you could go with a narrower width hanger setup like # APS4.

  • Boat Trailer Suspension is Making a Loud Popping Noise
If your boat trailer is making a continuous popping noise that seems to be coming from the suspension then it really could be anything involved in your suspension. The best way to find out what is the culprit is to simply do an inspection of your trailer suspension. Parts could be binding or they could be old or worn and in need of replacement. If everything seems to be in good working order it may be worth jacking your trailer up and taking the suspension apart so that you can check...

  • Replacing Suspension Components On A 2005 Fabrique Boat Trailer
I can certainly point you in the right direction. I am not able to recommend leaf springs and brackets based on a model of trailer or Vin number. If only it were so easy right? Generally only the manufacturer of the trailer will have that kind of information. When replacing leaf springs we do want the new springs to be basically identical to the old springs. The best way is for your to measure each spring. Double eye leaf springs are measured across from center eye to center eye. It is...

  • Can 3,500 lb Leaf Spring Be Installed on Vintage Aristocrat Lo Liner Trailer with 2,000 lb Axle
Yes, you will need to replace the hangers as well since there will be a 1/4" gap. The 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring # SP-210275 you're looking at is rated for 3,500 lb axle applications so I actually recommend using the the 3-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 2,000-lb Trailer Axles # e84SR instead. This will give you just the right amount tension needed for your trailer - the 3,500 lb leaf spring will be too rigid and cause the trailer to ride more stiff. The 2K leaf spring is shorter than the 3.5K...

  • Parts Needed To Convert Boat Trailer From Slipper Spring To Leaf Springs
Since you are converting your trailer from slipper springs to leaf springs I have linked one of our help articles below that will be able to help you with the conversion. A single axle trailer will typically use a 3-1/8" Long Shackle Strap # TRSL313. When you bolt straps to the outside of that hanger the hangers will then be to wide to fit properly on...

The axle # e23GR is 3 inch in diameter so the shock kit part # RM-2460 will fit it. The hanger kit part # APS4 though is a single axle hanger kit and since the shock kit is for a tandem setup it's worth mentioning that and offering the tandem axle setup # H248. Your axles being under the leaf springs will not change the hanger location recommendations listed for the Single Axle Hanger Kit part # APS4. You would want to have the hangers 25-3/4 apart measured on bolt center. However, since your axles are below the springs you would not need to have 5 inches between the center of the axle and the trailer frame.
