Awesome use it everyday for my work.

by:

I bought the spring kit to put on my home built trailer that I put my old heavy slide-in camper on. It more than met my expectations. There was no sway at 75mph or on the 5 mile trail back to camp.

by:

It was easy to install, and had all the parts I needed.
The trailer rolls down the road nice.
This helped me get a barn find trailer back on the road.

by:

Had what I needed to repair my trailer. Shipping was faster than expected. The kit should contain bushing for the springs as well. Also an option for the greaseable pins.

by:

We summer at a remote cabin in the Gila Nat'l Forest above Silver City NM. The last 5 miles to the cabin is extremely rough and puts a lot of wear and tear on both my truck and my trailer that we use to transport water, food, building materials and supplies to the cabin on a twice a month schedule. I have had suspension springs break, blown tires and damaged coupler. I ordered this kit to replace the entire hanger assembly because of wear and tear, cracks and loose fittings. I had to re-enforce the frame and weld up some cracks and wear points. The kit was great and worked perfect. The trailer is now like new and will serve me for years to come.

I'm building a trailer for a gutter machine from scratch. And the parts that I got from e-trailer are exactly what I needed, and on top of that they got to my house 3 days earlier than they were suppose to. I know where to order again if I need some more parts in near future ;) thank you guys

by:

I think these Trailer spring hangers are working out very well. Can’t wait to test it out on the road. I’m building a 7000 lbs GVWR trailer to mount a generator on.

by:

Excellent experience. My order shipped and arrived extremely fast and the customer support team was kind professional and promp in answering any questions I had.

by:

I had a trailer with a suspension that needed new bushing and rocker arm. I looked on line and decided on the parts I needed. I called my order in on Sunday evening and explained I needed the parts ASAP.
The parts were sent to UPS Sunday evening. I received the parts about 2:00 Wednesday. I have already installed the parts. The suspension is back like new now.

I received my order very fast. The quality is excellent and everything that I expected. What is also impressive is that if you have questions about setting up your axle kit, etrailer has printable instructions right on their website that will make installation simple.
I have built several trailers over the years and appreciate the quality and service provided by etrailer. I highly recommend this company and their products.

My flatbed trailer is a 1998 and the suspension and wheels were suffering from Pa's use of salt brine on the roads. The wheels had holes rusted through them! Decided it was time to repair the trailer. Got new wheels and suspension parts from E-trailer. Got my parts fast at a good price and well on my way to having a reliable trailer again. Great service and will do business again!

Year later and trailer is still working great again. PA inspection will be due in a month and everything is still in good shape

by:

Everything I needed was included and fit as it should.

by:

Donna helped me a great deal and made sure I ordered just what I needed and rushed the delivery so I could attend my event to meet Tim Mattis and team up to fight veteran suicide.

by:

Perfect fit. No problems.

by:

I have ordered from Etrailer a few times now, The service is always great and fast shipping. They have the best prices around. Where I live I have 24 miles of rough dirt road so am always replacing parts on my trailers. Their products hold up to the test of my road. Always a perfect fit too!

I didn’t receive all parts on original shipment. Box was partly open due to the box wasn’t big enough and that’s why it bust. After Tralee already tore part when found. I called to get replacement parts. That went well until I received what I was originally missing, and y’all sent me galvanized straps and I said to hell with it. Not going to keep waiting. I’ll paint over them. Not sure why my new order and the replacement straps couldn’t have been shipped together. But oh well I’ll wait several more days for part that was in stock in the same building probably to shopped late. Better luck next time

  • Determining Axle Position on Sailboat Trailer
In general when positioning a trailer axle you just want to make sure that roughly 10 to 15 percent of the total weight (with the boat loaded) is placed on the tongue. Typically on boat trailers this means the axle(s) will be set further back than on a traditional trailer because the back of the boat is usually heavier. Getting the ideal placement usually takes a bit of trial and error so it might be a bit difficult to get everything set up perfectly before actually having the sailboat...

  • Which Hub and Drums and Braking Assemblies Fit Tandem 6000lb Phillips/Dexter Axles?
I would be happy to help! As long as the race measurements you took were of the inside diameter then your spindle uses inner bearing # 25580 and outer bearing # 14125A, # LM67048, or # 15123 as each of these measure 1.25". The only difference between these outer bearings is the race used which is based on the hub and not the spindle. For a replacement hub and drum I recommend the Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly - 5,200-lb and 6,000-lb E-Z Lube Axles - 12" - 6 on 5-1/2 # 8-201-9UC3-EZ...

  • Parts Needed to Turn Single Axle Trailer Into Tandem Axle Trailer
There is not going to be a kit, per se, to make your single axle trailer a tandem axle trailer because not all trailers are created equal. The first thing you'll need is the measurement of your current axle from hub face to hub face, and then spring seat center to spring seat center; this will determine whether or not you'll be able to use a stock axle or need a custom ordered one. The other parts you would need are a hanger kit like the # APT5 to mount the springs to the trailer frame,...

If you already have the 6-1/8 inch equalizer this kit will work for you. Purchasing as a kit like this will be more economical that piecing everything together, like you mentioned. We don't carry the kits without an equalizer and we don't have a kit that includes 6-1/8 equalizers. If you need the equalizer as well then you'll need part # TREQ356.

If you are replacing the springs and hangers you will need to use the same center to center dimension as the original mounting brackets. These springs are designed for a 4,500 pound axle. If you are wanting a Torflex axle that sits lower then you need the 22.5 degree which has the center of the spindle sitting about 0.52" above the bottom of your frame under no load. I can help you out with this, but without knowing anything about the trailer, I can't give you any exact numbers. For starters, I've linked one of our helpful articles on where to position your trailer axle. A good way for determining the correct axle placement and spindle centerline when installing a Timbren Axle-Less System like # ASR3500S06 is to attach a plumb bob to each spindle and at the coupler. You are correct that the Tandem-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit for Double Eye Springs - 3-1/4" Tall Front/Center/Rear # APT5 you were looking at is designed around 29-1/2" hanger spacing but your suspension is a bit different in a few key ways. The # APT5 uses 25-1/8" long springs and a 7-3/4" long equalizer, where your suspension uses a 26-1/2" spring and a 5-1/2" long equalizer.
