Worked great, paint is holding up, hardware was good quality, bolted right in…no issues, hold load at least as good as factory springs. Would recommend and buy again!!

by:

Not only were the parts the right parts the kit had all I needed to do it right the videos made it as easy as it could be. The right parts that work and good videos on how to do it. I did call to be sure I was ordering everything I was going to need and was given great advise and was not encouraged to get things that I did not need. They are my go to team to get anything trailer done.

20 OF THESE IN A BOX WITH BOLTS AND SHACKLES BANGING AROUND IN A BOX. ABOSOLUTE TERRBLE PACKAGING

I have a 2001 travel trailer and I had a spring break on the front axle, thank God I was only a quarter mile from home. I went on the E trailer site easily found the springs I needed, the Triangular equalizer, and the bolts I needed. My order arrived 3 days later, I was very pleased with the quality of all my parts. Some reviews complain about the parts made in china, well lets be honest what is made in the USA any more. Every thing fit as expected and my project is done. Would definitely recommend E trailer to anyone who wants a good product at a fair price . Thanx E trailer!!

by:

Great feedback. Excellent product line.

by:

Exactly what I needed!

by:

The product is exactly what I ordered. Shipping was very quick. The staff at Etrailer was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I'm sure I will order from them next time I need parts for one of my trailers.

by:

Product seems to be of decent quality, but was missing a bushing when I recieved it. That put me another 3 days behind waiting for them to send out a bushing to replace the one left out of the order. They aren't able to be locally procured for me, so I had to wait on shipping. Quality control could use some work.

by:

Perfect fit

by:

Excellent service extremely helpful, friendly, probably the best customer service I've ever seen 6 star rating!

by:

Product solved suspension issue, increasing clearance to frame just enough to avoid spring to frame contact.

Thanks for coming back and letting us know how the Timbren kit has held up for you.

by:

This product was easy to install and seemed to be well made. It gave me a few extra inches of height that I wanted to help level my fifth wheel. I would have prefered to find one made in the USA and one that had bronze bushings. I took out the plastic bushings and installed the equalizer with a wet bolt kit with bronze bushings and grease zerks on the bolts. The service at etrailer was great. I needed the equalizers quickly and etrailers representative was friendly and helpful and shipping was immediate.

by:

Fit perfectly, I removed plastic bushings to use wet bolt heavy duty shackle kit!! Everything fit perfectly!!!

by:

Fit perfectly. Thanks

by:

Good product I have put 7,000 miles on them no problems.

by:

I ordered springs, bushings , shackles, equalizer, and bolts from e-trailer for my rv tandem axle Chris helped me insure I had the correct parts and the correct quantity of parts. I put one on and everything went fine. The only problem was the galvanized coating on the shackles made the hole to small and had to be drilled. ETrailer has great videos to show you how it is done. The phone sales staff was knowledgeable and effective, and shipment was quick, and all parts were there.

by:

Great products for a good price and fantastic service. I will be using etrailer again.
I broke one spring on my tandem axle trailer. After a little internet search I found etrailer. I decided to change all springs(upgraded to p4)shackles,equalizers,n bolts) total price around $200.00 about 40 percent cheaper than a local trailer repair shop..I ordered it early on a Tuesday and I got the order on Wednesday. Changed out parts on Thursday and back on the road on Friday. Great company to deal with!!

by:

Thanks, will be looking forward to our next shopping trip.

by:

I have installed the equalizers - time will tell how well the equalizers hold up. I'm not thrilled seeing that the equalizers were made in China, but I'll keep an open mind.

  • Will Lowering Leaf Springs On Hangers Raise The Ride Height Of Trailer?
It sounds like you are talking about moving your leaf springs down further on the hangers installed on the frame of your trailer. If that is the case then as long as each end of the spring is moved down the exact same distance, you will get the much lift in your trailers ride height. For example if you move the leaf springs and equalizers 1" lower on all of the hangers, you will get 1" lift. If you need more lift than your current hangers can give you going with the Correct Track Alignment...

  • Does Equalizer Need to be Replaced When Using MORryde Shackle Upgrade Kit MR46ZR
For the Triangular Equalizer # TREQ310, you do not need to replace it when using the shackle kit you mentioned: - MORryde Shackle Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers With 2-1/4" Shackles # MR46ZR That cracking and popping you are referring to is likely because of the lack of lubrication so the MORryde kit is going to be the perfect remedy for that. The wet bolts are going to make it much, much simpler to maintain, and the 1/2" thick shackles are far more durable so they won't wear down...

  • Replacing TREQ310 Equalizer with Suspension Enhancement Trailer Suspension System
You are correct that the slightly skinnier equalizers will not pose a problem for you, but the vertical height could. Since the shackle straps that come with the # K71-652-00 kit are slightly shorter than the average shackle strap, they will help make up for the loss of height in the equalizer. This will likely allow the E-Z Flex system to work well for you. Between the two systems, I recommend the Dexter E-Z Flex Heavy Duty Rubber Suspension System # K71-652-00. However if you have...

  • How to Lower Height of Single Axle Trailer With Leaf Springs
The shortest shackle length is going to be 2-1/4" like the # LC122487. As for removing a leaf or two from your leaf spring, I would not recommend doing this. It will lower the weight capacity of your leaf spring and also require some modifications. You also would not be able to remove the leaf running from the hanger to the shackle strap so this would have no impact on the height of your trailer. One possible option would be to get shorter hangers. It doesn't look like you could get any...

  • Adjustable Suspension on a 5th Wheel Trailer to Get More Height to Tow Trailer Level
I can't confirm that an over/under kit would work for you because of the unique hangers on the trailer. Though it does look like it was designed to be adjustable. It also would appear that the amount of height you would gain would be approximately equal to the center to center distance from one mounting hole to the next. This would appear to be a great option for you provided all the hanger locations have additional mounting holes like in your picture. You may also need some addition...

The Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer Kit # LC696740 will work to replace the Triangular Equalizer # TREQ310 and you are absolutely correct that the Road Armor equalizer will need shorter shackle straps than yours which are 2-1/4". The shortest available are the 2" Long Shackle Strap # TRSL200. I have added links to video reviews for you to check out as well.

  • Option for Increasing the Ride Height of a Fifth Wheel Trailer for Level Towing
I have a solution that could work for you, but we do not sell air kits for trailer suspension to raise the ride height. You can do this by moving the axles from being above the leaf springs to below the leaf springs. The diameter of your trailer axle will determine the size of the parts that you will need to order. If your axle is 3 inches diameter, the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit, # K71-385-00, would be a great choice and if your axle is 2-3/8 inch diameter you could...

You want to raise the rear of the trailer so the underside of the loft won't hit the bed sides at the rear of the truck, is that correct? If the leaf springs for your camper are UNDER the axle, and your axle is 2-3/8 or 3 inches in diameter, you can use an Over-Under kit, like # K71-384-00 for a 2-3/8 axle or # K71-385-00 for a 3 inch...

  • What is the Hanger Spacing when Using Leaf Spring e34SR and Equalizer TREQ310
With spring # e34SR and equalizers # TREQ310 the center to center distance between hangers will be approximately 29-3/8 inches. The diagram you say was assuming a specific hanger kit that has equalizers a little shorter than the ones you have so the 29-1/2 inches would be reduced by about 1/8 inches between the front and center hangers and center and rear hangers to compensate thus the 29-3/8 inches.

It is possible that we have a rubber suspension equalizer that can be added to your 7,000 lb tandem axle trailer. This style of equalizer is designed for trailers with two 3,000 to 8,000 pound axles, depending on which setup is needed. • Increasing 5th Wheel Ride Height by Installing Taller Equalizer
Changing your equalizer height by two inches will gain you a slight height increase, but because all the pieces of the suspension (springs and shackles) all move together, you will not get the full 2 inch height increase. The main measurement you will want to be concerned of is the distance between the two lower most bolt holes. The distance between the two lowermost bolt holes on your equalizers is 6-1/16" apart on center and the distance between the two lowermost bolt holes on the E-Z Flex is adjustable from 5-1/4" to 6-1/4" on center therefore will work well for you. • Can I Replace 4 Leaf Springs With 5 Leaf Springs For The Axle On My Trailer
Yes, you can replace your 4 Leaf Springs with 5 Leaf Springs like part # e34SR as long as you replace all of the springs at the same time. There really isn't any advantage if you want to go with 5 leaf springs over 4 leaf springs. Typically, you always want to try to get the same parts to replace what you already have, but 1/8 of an inch difference per leaf spring won't make much of a difference in how everything fits together.
