I found that the travel trailer OEM tail lights were blocked by the cargo carrier. I installed these light as an extension of the OEM tail light. These lights enhanced the OEM lights. Now I worry a bit less about the vehicles behind me.

by:

these were exactly what i needed to maintain my trailer, and the order came very fast.

working perfectly

by:

These bearing kits are just the thing for rebuilding wheel hub and drums. As long as you know your axle rating, ordering is easy. Made with excellent quality materials and workmanship, Installation was straight forward. ALWAYS use high temperature high pressure WHEEL BEARING GREASE. My bearing replacement was caused by a friend doing me a favor and greasing my hubs. Unfortunately for me, he used chassis grease and the bearings failed in a very short time. I saw slight smoke coming from my trailer hub and noticed a slight wobble in one wheel. On inspection I saw the problem. Always use your mirrors and watch your trailer. I had a VERY expensive vehicle on board.

by:

The bearing was delayed in shipment. I believe a label was created but it wasn't shipped. I inquired about it, and got a lame answer about a crinkled label, but when I checked the next day I could track the shipment from the facility. But to top it off, when I received it, the package had been ripped open and all I ended up with was an envelope. You should really try to be better.

I definitely agree that parts of our shipping process could be improved on. I will make sure our customer service team reaches out to you about this.

by:

Etrailer is very knowledged in their work. They was able to answer all my questions with a quick response time. The shipment was also very fast. I highly recommend this company for all your RV needs.

by:

USPS tracking site listed for 6 days that they had ticket prepared and were awaiting product from shipper. When I called etrailer about this the CSR said, of course it has been shipped, and blamed USPS for having a bad history of not scanning packages and quickly developed an attitude and started quoting you policy. I'm not sure who the guilty party is but I know who had a bad attitude. He should know people have a lot of options where to spend their money! etrailer probably won't be my first stop when shopping in the future.

by:

I bought the bearing kit as a spare and haven't used it yet but I think etrailer is an excellent resource with fair prices. There is a lot of helpful information on their site.

by:

Ordered 2 new complete bearing kits with a couple extra inner seals. Arrived 2 days early! Price was better than any auto shop. Got 2 complete sets for same price as just one set of bearings and races, no seal included ( from NAPA)

by:

Everything I needed to replace trailer bearings. Very fast shipping. Excellent service as always.

by:

They were exactly what the staff at eTrailer said I needed. They have been functioning just fine, would highly recommend.

by:

Great place for hard to find parts. Quick shipping and great customer service!

No issues in over a year of running these. Converted my boat trailer over from Vault hubs to normal grease hubs. No longer worried about if the bearings are greased or not!

by:

Second time I’ve ordered these bearing set to maintain my trailer fleet. Very satisfied!

by:

The folks at e-trailer never cease to amaze, they are early with my parts.
top shelf Company. thanks.

by:

Fast service correct bearings , always have ordered from these guys because of knowledge.

by:

Etrailer kept me well informed of the progress of my order and the quality of parts ordered where as described.

by:

I was blown away by the speed of filling my order and shipping. Had everything I needed (outside of caliper mount hardware) but overall great experience

by:

Company needs to have a way of estimating shipping time that is realistic. My order was five days after their estimate. I had to go and buy another set of bearings somewhere else as I needed them before the day they arrived. If I would have known the correct shipping date, I would not have ordered them. All things equal, the service and the quality from previous orders has been good.

by:

Overall experience with Paula with my over the phone ordering experience was fantastic. Unfortunately, the parts would not work. Only one of the bearings and race in the kit fit but the rest was unusable in my application.

by:

Purchased travel trailer wheel bearings and seals
For 10k overhaul. Easier and cheaper to repack and replace vs. cleaning and repacking. Seals will be destroyed anyway while repacking

by:

Worked pretty well. It is easy to get the bearing race started crooked if you don’t go easy when you first start driving it in. So there is a very slight learning curve, but once you figure that out, it works pretty good.

by:

I ordered the wrong parts. Talked to Arthur and got a return and he helped me get the right. Excellent job. I will not hesitate to recommend etrailer.10 stars is more like it but could only give 5.

by:

Appreciate the quick arrival and completeness of ordered parts. Replacement video also very helpful and appreciated.

by:

Perfectly satisfied with the prompt and accurate service. One question about the product: The mechanic who installs these bearings for me on my travel trailer said that the kit includes a cotter pin, but there is no hole for the cotter pin to go through. I know nothing about how this all works -- I just buy the bearings and he puts them in. etrailer ... do you have any comment on his remark?

Etrailer Expert

Yes, the bearing kit comes with both the cotter pin and tang washer. Different axles use either the cotter pin or the tang washer to keep the standard nut or castle nut on at the end of the spindle. Lippert easy-lube axles, for example, have a hole through them for a cotter pin and castle nut, while Dexter axles will not have the hole for the cotter pin and instead use a regular nut and tang washer to prevent the nut from backing off.

by:

Some how the package was compromised and parts missing, contacted e trailer and they reshiped. Prompt service.

by:

Hub looks good. I wanted to try a stainless hub after owning a regular galvanized one. It is a Kodiak brand so it has a good reputation.
I also wanted to switch to a separate stainless disk.
The bearing kit is made in China so I am a bit concerned but will have to wait and see if it holds up.
Only an average rating as I will have to see if it holds up over time.

  • Bearing Kit for 3500-lb Dexter Axle on 2018 Catalina Trail Blazer TH26
An axle's weight rating tells us a lot about the bearings it is likely to use and a 3500-lb Dexter axle typically uses inner bearing # L68149, outer bearing # L44649 and seal # 58846 which has an inner diameter of 1.719-inches and an outer diameter of 2.565-inches. By the way these components are offered together as kit # BK2-100 which also includes the races, tang washer and cotter pin.
