Bunk Boards

These carpeted bunk boards provide hull support for your boat during transport and storage. Each 7' long board is wrapped in weather-resistant, marine-grade black carpet. You can run the bunk boards front to back for traditionally shaped hulls or side to side for flat-bottom boats, kayaks and inflatables.

To attach the bunk boards to the front and rear crossmembers of your trailer frame, use existing brackets or a four-pack of swivel mounting brackets (CE10000G-4, CE10001G-4 or CE10002G-4 - sold separately). These brackets allow you to install the bunk boards at different heights. In addition, they enable the bunk boards to tilt to accommodate and support boat hulls of different sizes.

There needs to be a better system on the keel rollers , where there is a more positive end cap to the
roller shaft .......something as simple as a through hole with a washer and a stainless cotter pin would be fine.
the " snap-on " " pound on type" come off eventually .

I converted my jet ski trailer into a dual purpose trailer: a kayak trailer for the summer, and a jet ski trailer for the winter months. The bunks are installed above the existing jet ski bunks and the kayak bunks are easily removed at the end of the season. I am very pleased with the results.

etrailer always has the best deals and the fastest shipping and handling. Always Great customer service and always a great experience.

by:

Received the 7' Bunks in 3 days to Virginia Beach. Great speed from ordering to delivery.

Very nice looking Bunks. I also ordered all the Hardware and Swivel Brackets. OEM Brackets are getting paper thin (12 yo trailer) and didn't want to trust them another year. Can't say that I am looking forward to the project, but will be happy when completed.

by:

Customer service was helpful, delivery quick and instructions very clear.

by:

I am hoping it will work on my trailer. All the parts are as you described. The ordering was easy and shipping was fast. Thank you

by:

Its exactly what I was looking for thank you for a great product. I’ve had my boat trailer in the water numerous times and the bunks are still just like brand new

by:

Good value. Easy to order. Quick shipment and delivery.

by:

Just right for my raft application.

by:

Perfect replacement bunks. Carpet well fitted. Already had in the water with minimal saturation. Will buy again.

I bought a 2007 16' Carolina Skiff for $3500 back in December. The dealer said there was nothing at all wrong with it and he went over it and winterized it. I finally got around to putting it in the water and saw that the bunk boards were in terrible shape, with one side rail guide-on falling off. I took it to a marina repair shop and was told it would be cheaper to buy a new trailer instead of replacing the bunk boards. I contacted Ashley at etrailer about buying a set of bunk boards and all of the brackets and hardware for it. $370.00 later I had a full set of bunk boards and guide-ons being shipped to me. I don't think I could find a new trailer for that price. It took longer to remove the old ones than it did to put the new ones on. About 3 hrs later I had a new trailer. These bunk boards and guide-ons fit my boat and trailer perfectly.
Thank you Ashley and etrailer for great customer service and a very good product at a really decent price.

by:

Arrived ahead of schedule haven't had a chance to install them yet waiting on more parts but they appear to be very good shape we'll find out when we install them

by:

Bunks work very well.
Quick delivery
and good service

My bunks are still solid, barely wearing at all.

by:

Fast delivery in great condition; excellent communication. The bunks appear to be well constructed with quality materials. I noted that while the carpet was securly stapled to the lumber it wasn't glued. I don't know if that will be of any consequence or not. It fit perfectly and installed easily and quickly. I'd give it 5 stars but we'll have to see how it stands the test of time.

by:

Wonderful, saved time buying carpet materials and covering wood, all I had to do was put them on the trailer.

by:

Great replacements. I jacked boat up one side at a time. Took brackets off old boards and installed them on new boards. New boards were a little longer than originals so I installed brackets to match up with mounts on trailer. They fit and work excellent.

by:

Ordered a pair of boat trailer bunk boards for my 35 year old EZ Loader trailer. After debating making new boards myself ordered pair from Etrailer. Was very satisfied with the timing being shipped across the country. The boards were packed very well and received in top shape. The quality of the product was excellent and fit was perfect. Was very surprised on the free shipping at the distance be shipped for the bulky item. Thanks for the help Etrailer, would recommend your business to others.

by:

I purchased these as a replacement for my Tracker fishing boat trailer. One year later, and BAM! They're still in great shape and working as I would expect. I have absolutely no concerns recommending these. Great quality, great price, great service from etrailer.com.

by:

Great quality and fast shipping

by:

Excellent quality bunk boards. Great price. Delivered as committed. Highly recommend e-trailer as a preferred source.

by:

they came in a timely manner they appear to be well made but time will tell. They were a little narrower that the ones that came with the trailer but still fit the brackets good. Would order again and recommend to others

by:

Haven't actually tried the bunks and guide boards I bought because it is winter here now but the service and selection were awesome. They had everything I was looking for in one place and the delivery was right on time. The instruction videos and pictures were very helpful. Highly recommend etrailer for all your trailering needs and more.

by:

Ordered these as replacement bunk guide ons for my ezloader trailer.
Couldn't be more impressed with the quality of these.
Lisa D from online support helped me through the questions I had and input my order.
Very pleased with the bunks and etrailer online support.

by:

These bunk boards are a perfect replacement of the originals. The marine carpet is of high quality as well. I’m very pleased with this purchase, and the shipping was extremely fast too.

by:

Worked great to convert a poor quality trailer into a trailer that would actually carry and launch a sailboat. Lots of room for adjustments. Overall excellent quality.

  • Can I Use Roller Bunks and Carpeted Bunk Boards Together on Boat Trailer
I'll start off by saying that I've seen quite a few boat trailers that use a combination of rollers like the CE Smith Roller Bunks for Boat Trailers - 6 Rollers Each - 5' Long - 1,500 lbs - 1 Pair # CE27710 and a carpeted bunk like the CE Smith Carpeted Bunk Boards for Boat Trailers - 7' Long - 1 Pair # CE27845. The rollers definitely help if you're on a lot of shallow or steep boat ramps and combining the two gives you the best of both worlds, with the rollers on the bottom and boards...

  • Rollers to Carry Raft on Modified Trailer
The way the Ladder Roller for Rhino-Rack Heavy-Duty Crossbars # RR1500 works is that the top bracket mounts into the t-tracks of your bars and roller is on the side. That means they can't be flipped upwards since there are no t-tracks on the side of the bar that they can clamp onto if the bar was mounted traditionally like it would be on a roof rack. If you're modifying a boat trailer though, you might be interested in Boat Trailer Standard Roller Bunks # DL21755. These can attach to mounting...

The more common use for a pontoon trailer is the CE Smith Roller Style Guide-Ons for Pontoon Boat Trailers - 24" Long - 1 Pair # CE27672 which are designed for the inside of the pontoons to center the boat on the trailer and guide you onto the bunk boards. • Picking Out What Length of Bunk Board for Boat Trailer
You'd want to go with the length that matches the length of the hull that can make contact with bunks. I wouldn't recommend going on the shorter side as that means more weight is concentrated on a smaller section of the bunk. I don't have a way to know what would be the correct size. The longest bunk board we have is 7 foot with the part # CE27845.

  • Determining Trailer Bunk Board Length for 14 Foot Sailboat
It's not an exact science but typically you want the bunk boards on a trailer to extend all the way to the rear of the boat. It wouldn't hurt to have them go a bit beyond this too to ensure proper support during travel. Since the front of the boat should be supported by the bow stop you usually see bunk boards that measure about half the length of the boat itself. Since you no longer have the boards that originally came on your trailer it might also be a good idea to try and contact the...
