Now this ball mount has the dual ball platform on it that'll let you hook up your trailer to your tow vehicle. The shank right up here is what'll slide in your 2" hitch receiver opening, and then the balls up front will provide the connection point for your trailer coupler. This is gonna slide into your two inch by two inch trailer hitch receiver on your tow vehicle and then it will provide the ball platform for your hitch ball. This does have a one inch diameter hole here, so it will work with your hitch ball that has a one inch diameter shank. So then once you have your hitch ball hooked up, you can hook up to your trailer, hook your trailer up to your tow vehicle, so you can tow your trailer. This does have a sturdy steel construction, so it's going to give us a gross towing weight capacity of 5,000 pounds. more

Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at this adjustable ball mount from Gen-Y for our 2-1/2" hitches. This is going to give you a couple of different options in terms of hooking up. We've got our 2-5/16" ball and a 2" ball on the bottom that we can access just by unpinning, flipping it around, and reinserting it into one of the stacked receiver tubes. Depending on which one of these you use, your weight capacity will vary just a little bit. With the 2" ball, it's gonna have a gross trailer weight rating of 16,000 pounds with a maximum tongue weight, that's the downward pressure, of 1500 pounds. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the TowSmart tow starter package for 2-inch hitches. Now this is gonna come with a 2-inch ball and also have a 2-inch rise or a 3 1/4-inch drop. If you don't regularly tow and you've just picked up a vehicle with a 2-inch hitch, and you wanna tow something like a kayak trailer or even just a, you know, if you're moving and you need to rent a trailer, you can definitely pick this up and it's gonna be a great option because it comes with the 2-inch ball already pre-torqued on there. It also comes with a locking pin and clip here, which is really nice. And that way you can keep this on your vehicle, locked in place, and no one's gonna walk away with it. Now this is rated at 5,000 pounds, which is not a ton of weight, but for something like our Maverick here, as well as a kayak trailer, it's a perfect match and it's gonna be good for most light-duty trailers that you'd be hooking up to. more

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a look at this B&W Tow & Stow pintle hook with 2 and 5/16-inch hitch ball. And this is going to work with your two-inch hitch receiver. So like I said, this is designed to slide into your two-inch trailer hitch receiver, and the pintle hook and the hitch ball combo is going to let you hook up your trailer to your tow vehicle. So you're gonna have the flexibility of using this with a standard coupler and then using this as a pintle hook. Now if you want to use the 2 and 5/16-inch hitch ball with your standard coupler, you're simply gonna remove the pin and clip from this top plate and flip it up like that, and then re-insert the pin and clip like so. more

Blue Ox Adjustable Ball Mount with Pintle Hook Review- Video
Hi everyone, Aidan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at this Blue Ox Adjustable Ball Mount with the pintle hook attachment for your two inch hitches. So I will point out that we are using this in a 2 1/2 inch hitch with a reducer, but on a regular two inch hitch, this is gonna be a great adjustable ball mount, offering you a 2 5/16 ball with that pintle hook attachment that you can or don't have to use. So if you've got a lunette ring trailer, this is really nice, because you can pull out that pin and clip, lift the lever to open it up, drop your lunette ring trailer on top, push it back into place and resecure it with that pin and clip. If you don't need to use the pintle hook, maybe you're towing just a regular trailer, you can secure it up top in the open position with that pin and clip. And then it won't pop back down, you can hook up to a regular coupler, so if you're carrying a wide variety of different trailers and you need to be switching between those two mounting options, you can. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the CURT Ball Mount Four Inch and a Quarter Inch Hitches. You do have the option to have a rise or a drop, and that's gonna be really nice to custom cater it to make sure that your trailer's perfectly level so you get the best towing experience. And this one we have in our rise position, which gives us a five eighths of an inch rise. Now if you need the drop, which is gonna be an inch and a quarter, you're simply going to take this, flip it over, and you will have to take the ball and flip that and retorque that as well. Now, the ball does not come with this. And the reason being is you wanna make sure that it's going to the coupler that you're gonna be using. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the Curt Ball Mount for inch and a quarter inch hitches. Now this ball mount allows us to have a 3/4 inch rise like we have here with our trailer hooked up, which makes it nice and level, so that works out really well. But if you do have a trailer that sits a little bit lower, you still have the opportunity to flip this over, re-torque the ball and then you have an inch and 1/4 inch drop. The ball is not going to be included and when you pick one up, you're gonna wanna make sure that you match it to the coupler and that's the reason it doesn't have it, because we have an inch and a 7/8 here. But if you need a 2-inch ball for your coupler, you can simply pick up the ball that matches your needs. Now when looking at balls, you're gonna wanna make sure that you get one with a 3/4 inch diameter and that way it's going to slide in, no problem. more

Curt Class II Euro Style Drawbar Review- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the Curt Euro Ball Mount. Now this one has a five and an eighths ball height and it's also gonna be for your inch and a quarter inch hitch. Now the unique thing with the Euro Ball Mount is gonna be the fact that it's always gonna be in the rise position. You can't just flip this over because the ball faces vertical. So, this one in particular has a five and an eighths inch ball height, and that's measuring from the center of the hitch pin hole of our hitch to the center of the ball. So, a decent amount of rise here is gonna be perfect to get our trailer nice and level. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the Curt Ball Mount for inch and a quarter inch hitches. Now the great part about this is you are able to have a rise or a drop depending on which way that you tighten the ball down. And it's gonna be simple to just flip that over and you can have a one inch drop or a three eighths inch rise like we have here. Now the ball is not included with this and that's so you can choose the proper size for your trailer. Ours is a inch and seven eights coupler on a trailer that we have here, so we got an inch and seven eights ball. Now if I went to a two inch, you can simply pick that up. more

Curt Class I Drawbar Review C45022- Video
Hello, neighbors, it's Brad, here at etrailer and today, we're taking a look at the Curt Class One Draw Bar. Now this is gonna be a great option for those of you with an inch and quarter inch hitch and it's going to come with a two and five eighths rise, like we have it here, but you can also flip this over and get a drop out of it. So you'll flip this, flip your ball over, re-torque it and then you're gonna get a three and a quarter inch drop. Now this is able to be used in a rise or a drop position and you can see we have it in our rise position to kind of, level out our trailer here. And if you we're to go into a drop position, it's pretty simple, you're gonna take that ball and you will have to actually re-torque it down. You'll just flip that over, put the ball in, tighten it down and torque it and then you can have it in your drop position. more

Flint Hill Goods Tri-Ball Mount Review- Video
Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at this tri-ball mount from Flint Hill Goods. This is gonna give us both an inch and seven eighths, a two inch, and two and five sixteenths ball, so we can swap between them if we are maybe towing a variety of different trailers and frequently need to swap out. Rather than having three separate ball mounts, we can have all three sizes ready to go when we need 'em. The one downside is that it is fixed and it isn't height adjustable, but if that's not a concern for you, then let's check it out. more

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this Gen-Y Phantom-X Ball Mount with stacked receivers. This is going to slide right into your two inch by two inch trailer hitch receiver on your vehicle. This does not come with a pin and clip to secure this to your hitch, but it is just your standard five eight inch diameter hitch pinhole there. So you probably already have a pin clip for your hitch and that will allow you to secure this in place. We do have them available if you don't already have one. more

What's up everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna be checking out this Gen-Y Dual-Ball Mount. So it's gonna have a 2 and 5/16 ball and a two-inch ball on a straight shank, and it fits a two and a half inch hitch. Let's check it out. There's gonna be a straight shank on this ball mount, so if you do need to adjust for a rise and drop to level out your trailer and truck, there are other Gen-Y options out there that are adjustable. I'll look into those, but if you don't need that, it's gonna be great. more
