We'll begin our test fit in the drop position by sliding the shank of the ball mount into the opening of the hitch. After lining up the pin holes, we'll insert our pin through our pin holes and then secure it with the clip on the other side. With the ball mount platform as high as it can go in the drop position, we'll measure from the ground to the top of the ball platform, getting a measurement of about 20 inches. more
