Minumum Air Pressure Recommendation for the Firestone Air Bag Kit # F2071

Question:

You gave advise for someone to level their truck out and then decide on how much air pressure to use for a minimum. My question is: How can I level my truck 2014 Silverado with ride rite HD when Its already higher in the back with a minimum of 5 lbs or air in it. It just seems like it sits to high in the back when theres no air in the bags. If I let all the air out of the bags my truck will still be a few inches higher in the back end. Ive been running it with 13 lbs of air so I dont have to sweat about the airbags bottoming out and breaking. Is it okay that my truck is riding high in the rear end?

Most trucks will sit a bit higher in the rear than in the front due to the heavier duty suspension that the rear of the truck has. With 5 psi in the bags your truck shouldn't be that much higher (if at all) in the rear than it was before you installed the air bag kit # F2071 so you should be just fine with the 5 psi.
