With Firestone Ride Rite kits like the part # F2071 the absolute minimum psi you will need to run is 5 psi. This prevents the bags from getting damaged.

Typically people run the amount of pressure that allows the vehicle to sit as level as possible when loaded. Going with more pressure will cause the ride quality to be harsh and bouncy. Too little and the suspension may still sag. Trial and error is the best way to find the perfect amount.

I attached a help article on Firestone air spring kits for you to check out as well.

I have a 2023 Forrest River 32 ft. Motorhome on a 450F. I have the Firestone Ride Rite bags in the rear, I have them set at 6 PSI without towing anything, My Question is how do i Know how much air i should apply when i am towing anything. Also, without towing anything can i run more air in the bags, so the rear does not Scrap/hit the road when going into a little dip on a driveway or turn???

@DonaldC The amount of pressure to put in the bags is usually set by what allows the vehicle to sit level again. 5 psi is the minimum pressure but you can run more at any time as needed. Basically I would run just as much as needed to prevent the scraping so that your ride quality is as good as possible.
