Does Reese Make the Ford Hitch Prep Fifth Wheel Rails
Question:
Have you heard any difference between the factory under bed rail system and the Reese after market kit. I have a customer that says our locking bolts on the Curt 16017 do not fit the Reese system

Reese Elite underbed rails and the Ford hitch prep packages are the exact same underbed rail systems. Reese makes the kits for Ford. For more info on this check out the link I attached to the right.
The Curt leg kit part # C16017 that you referenced would install in either the Reese Elite or the Ford hitch prep package as long as everything was installed correctly. We have not heard of any issues where the Curt hitches designed for the Ford hitch prep didn't fit.
