Adding 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Trailer Wiring Connector in the Bed of a 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500

What do you have to do to install this inside the bed of the truck? What are the dimensions of the hole will need to be cut? Also just confirming this will fit for my 2015 Chev 2500 Silvarado Crewcab shortbed?

Take a look at the video I have linked to the right. It shows installation of the in-bed wiring harness on a 2012 Silverado. The process will be essentially the same for your 2015 Chevy Silverado. You will need a 2 inch diameter hole. A hole saw drill bit is the ideal way to drill a large hole. This harness will fit your truck.

You will have to go with a sliding hitch to allow the trailer to make tight turns. For a trailer 8 feet wide the only bed length that's going to allow 90 degree turns without a slider is a stationary hitch. That being said you have two options.…
