Best Hitch Recommendation for a 2015 Subaru Forester
Question:
Your thoughts please on Draw-Tite #36523 used for carrying 2 bicycles using 1 1/4 receiver. Also recommendations on what is a good cargo carrier? See many on the road moving bouncing behind the car.... Regards

For your 2015 Subaru Forester I would strongly recommend you go with a 2 inch hitch over a 1-1/4 inch hitch. 2 inch hitches have more capacity and have more flexibility for accessories since there are way more things designed to fit a 2 inch hitch over a 1-1/4 inch hitch. Also a 2 inch hitch will carry a cargo carrier much smoother due to it's higher capacity. There would be much less bouncing like you described.
I would recommend the Draw Tite hitch part # 75876. This would be a great hitch to carry a bike rack and a cargo carrier with.
For a bike rack I would recommend the Swagman XTC2 # S64670 since this rack is the most popular rack we carry. It works great and our customers love it. It has a ton of positive reviews.
The most popular cargo carrier we offer that would work great for you would be the part # C18151. I attached a review video for this carrier as well. Since you said you were concerned about movement in the hitch I would recommend the anti-rattle device part # 63232 as well.
