Question:
Hi. is everything I need to install the HM47294 included in the kit ? I already have a connector for a trailer since I had a small 4x8. now i have a 5x8 enclosed with electric brakes. I have the honda factory harness installed.. does the HM47294 have the 20 and 30 amp fuses needed ?

To install a brake controller such as # HM47294 on your 2008 Honda Element, it will have to be hardwired in. To start you would install the appropriate trailer connector. You mentioned that your Element has a trailer connector already. It is likely a 4-Way flat trailer connector which only controls the trailer lights.
All you would need is the 4 and 7-Way installation kit # ETBC7 and the brake controller. The installation kit comes with all of the parts needed to add a 7-Way connector to the vehicle and it does include the circuit breakers.
I have included a couple of links that show and explain the ETBC7 installation for you.
