Are Bike Racks Available For 1/2 Inch Hitch Receiver

We are looking to buy a bikr for a hitch.all the ones i see are for 1/4 to 2inch recievers. Our car has a 1/2inch we they still work? Thank you

You are correct that the bike racks we offer are designed to work with hitch receivers that have either 1-1/4 or 2 inch openings. I spoke with one of our other Experts who said a hitch that had a 1/2 dimension was used several years ago on some vehicles, but are no longer used. I have attached a photo of one of those hitches. The photo was provided by a customer so I do not have the dimensions for the receiver opening.

We do not offer any bike racks that would fit a receiver shaped like the one in the attached photo. If you would like to send me the information about your vehicle such as year make and model, I would be happy to make a recommendation for a hitch that would have either the 1-1/4 or 2 inch opening. I can then make some bike rack recommendations based on your vehicle.
