Comparing etrailer and Curt Class III Trailer Hitches for 2018 Toyota Highlander SE

For 2018 Toyota Highlander SE How does the etrailer hitch e98844 compare against the Curt hitch c13200? Both items appear to be the same as far as towing capacity and TW. one difference I see is the etrailer is matte black whereas the Curt is gloss black. What other differences are there ? Is one hidden more than the other?

You have spotted the one and only difference between the etrailer Class III Trailer Hitch # e98844 and the Curt # C13200. Absolutely everything except the finish is identical on these trailer hitches, including how they install and where they sit in relation to the rear bumper on your Highlander SE.

I personally like the matte black finish on the etrailer # e98844. It tends to match the aesthetics of the vehicle a little more and is also less prone to visible scratches. I have attached an installation video below that you can follow along with as well.
