If your 2014 Honda Pilot came equipped with the factory 7-way tow package then the wiring harness you referenced, part # 118265 from TowReady, is the correct specified choice as a factory replacement part. This kit includes the 7-way socket as well as the relays and harness to activate the tow package wiring. My technical contact at TowReady confirmed this 7-way kit also works on vehicles without the factory tow package.

If your Pilot does not have the factory 7-way then you will want to use Tow Ready Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring # 118558. This kit also includes the required harness and relays and supplies a flat 4-pole type trailer connector to carry lighting signals to your 4-pole-equipped trailer.
