At this time I do not have a trailer hitch that is a fit for the BMW 3 Series convertible. The hitches we have are all Class I hitches and will only fit the BMW 328i Sedan, the 328xi Sedan and the 328 Sport Wagon.
The reason there are no 2 inch hitches available for the BMW 3 series is that hitches with 2 inch openings are reserved for vehicles with higher towing capacities than what the BMW 3 Series is rated for.
Check out the FAQ article I attached on hitch classifications.
If you are looking to carry bikes with your BMW 3 series convertible coupe I recommend a trunk bike rack like the Yakima HangOut 3 Bike Rack, part # Y02638.
I have included a video review of this two 2-bike bike racks.
If you are going to be carrying women's or children's bikes that do not have the horizontal bar at the top of the frame, you will want to use the Yakima Bike Adapter Bar, part # Y02531. It attaches to the center seat post and to the handlebar post and provides a horizontal bar, so the bike can ride level on the bike rack. I am including a link to a video review for this adapter.
