Brake Controller Installation Harness Recommendation for a Ford F53 Connector
Question:
Ive got a 2007 Monaco Monarch 30PDD RV on a 2006 Ford F53 chasis. The 6 pin connector under the dash has 5 wires with the fifth one being what I think are the position lights according to your installation instructions in French. I just wanted to make sure that the 3035-P connector would work with that fifth wire not connected to anything. The ground checks, the fused battery feed is hot and the stop lamp pin is hot when the brakes are applied. The only wire I cannot check is the blue brake controller output. Ill be using a Tekonsha Voyager with it since we are familiar with it and thats what we have on our F350 with a 6 pin trailer connector in the back. Thanks for your help.
