Replacement Break Away Pin for Hopkins Engager Break Away System
Question:
I AM LOOKING FOR THE BREAKAWAY SWITCH/KEY FOR AN ENGAGER. IS THIS BRAND SAME AS HOPKINS
asked by: MITCH
Expert Reply:
The Engager is the model name of the break away system manufactured by Hopkins. A replacement switch is available as part # HM20060. The switch features an LED that will tell you at a glance that your break away battery is fully charged and ready to go.
If it's just the cable and pin you need, Hopkins currently offers two differently shaped pins, part # HM20012 and # HM20051, as you can see in the provided photo.
If you don't know which one you need, you'd be better off replacing the whole switch assembly, which is just a few more dollars than the pin only.
