Is the Saris Freedom 4-Bike Platform Bike Rack a Good Bike Rack
Question:
I have seen very little information on this product anywhere on the web. Is it completely new, or so bad that nobody has bought it? Even you guys at etrailer have virtually nothing on it. What gives?

Saris makes a good rack and the Freedom SuperClamp # SA4026F, is no exception. We only recently started carrying Saris racks which is why you do not see a lot of information presently on our site. It is a newer rack in the Saris lineup coming on the heels of the regular Freedom rack # SA4414B.
The main difference is that the Freedom SuperClamp holds the bikes at the wheels which is the best way to carry bikes with carbon frames and/or wheels and bikes with step through frames. Bikes with fenders would not fit the best on this rack because the wheel clamp would have to go too far past the fender to touch the tires.
This rack has a limited lifetime warranty as well. You only see that on racks that are built to last! It also features an integrated cable lock to secure the bikes to the rack. It also features a threaded locking hitch pin to help keep the rack stable and deter theft.
