can i use this hitch for my 2006 x3 bmw. i like that i dont have to cut my bumper!

Curt trailer hitch # 13573 does fit your 2006 BMW X3. This and all of the trailer hitches for the 2006 model do require some fascia trimming to install the hitch. I have included a picture that shows where the trimming is required and a video showing installation for you.
To complete your towing set up I recommend etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK4. It includes a ball mount, interchangeable ball set, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag. And for trailer wiring you can use # C59236.
