Is There A Standard Bolt Pattern for Mounting a Jack to a Trailer A-Frame

Question:

Are the bolt holes on all tongue jacks with a triangular mounting plate standard at 3-1/2inch on center or do they vary from manufacturer to manufacturer?

Helpful Expert Reply:

Most jack manufacturers including Fulton, Bulldog and Dutton Lainson use slotted holes in the jack mounting flange. Three inches apart center to center is considered industry standard. Since the holes are slotted, there will be a bit of wiggle room if the holes in your trailer A-frame aren't exactly 3 inches apart.
