Which fuses are blowing? If you are getting a bulb out sensor error and the trailer has LED lights, the issue is not a blown fuse. You will just need a special adapter to solve that problem, # 20142.

A blown fuse is usually an indication of a short somewhere on the trailer. You will need to make sure that the connector on your BMW X5, the Prodigy connector, and the trailer connector that plugs into the Prodigy RF are all clean and free of corrosion inside and out.

On the trailer, make sure that the wiring to the lights is intact with no copper strands touching bare metal on the trailer.

The Prodigy RF only draws power from the 12 volt circuit on the 7-Way and uses the brake light signal. If the 7-Way on your X5 is different than the standard configuration, that could also cause a problem. The 7-Way on the vehicle should have the functions in the positions in the picture I have included.
