Troubleshooting Furrion AC Unit Pulling 51 Amps  

Question:

Furrion 15,500 ac bought it just under two years ago keeps tripping the breaker put in new breaker new converter checked electric at breaker and at the controller it pulls 51 amps can send pic compressor and capacitor are good any ideas

Thanks for the picture! 51 amps is way too high. Start up should be no higher then 30 amps on Furrion AC's like item # FR23PV. I don't know which one you have but the item # FR23PV needs 30 amps to start and 15.8 amps to run which is common amongst that size. If you're pulling 51 then somethings wrong with your motor and or your capacitator because it is pulling way too much power.

Furrion has 2-year warranties on their AC units. I recommend reaching out to them directly.

I'm thinking it's the control module the relay that has the black and blue wires black wire coming from main electric source I get no continuity when checking with multimeter thank you jim

@JerredH I have current to control module then it goes to a relay with black & blue wire current go in the relay but that's as far as it goes no current any where else nothing to thermostat or any other wires at all
