Recommended Trailer Hitch for a 2023 Toyota RAV4
Question:
2023 Toyota Rav4 Hybrid. Looking for difference in ground clearance between the Curt and Eco Hitch. And does the Eco Hitch truly require cutting the bumper? Thanks, Jeff

To answer your question plainly Jeff, no, cutting of the fascia is not truly required. This is only required on the EcoHitch and HiddenHitch options because they are marketed as a "hidden" type of hitch. So, they're going to sit farther back compared to a standard hitch hiding the cross-tube, giving you the "from-the-factory" look.
If that is not a deal breaker for you, then I'd just go with the Curt # C13416. It is virtually the same as the Ecohitch, it's going to stick out more and it's going to be much easier to install, but it is going to have a bit lower of a weight capacity than the EcoHitch # EH97FR.
