The capacity you are looking for is the tongue weight capacity. Tongue weight is the term used for how much vertical load can be on the hitch. For trailer hitch # 24802 for your 2009 Ford Focus the tongue weight capacity is 200 pounds.
You will want to check the Focus owners manual to see if it has a tongue weight capacity. Whichever is lower, the hitch or the vehicle, that is the capacity you will need to go by. I have included a link to a video showing installation of the hitch and a link to the instructions for you.
