With the B&W Turnoverball underbed gooseneck trailer hitch you get the best of both worlds. When you go to tow, the Turnoverball creates a sturdy, dependable connection with your gooseneck trailer. And when you're done towing, you can stow the ball upside down in the hitch to get full bed access and a clean appearance.
The durable steel hitch ball included with the Turnoverball system secures in the hitch with a sturdy, 5/8" thick steel pin that is incorporated into the end of the operating handle. To lock the ball in place, drop it into the hitch hole in the bed of your truck. Then rotate the handle in your driver's-side wheel well counterclockwise until the latch engages. When the latch is engaged, the spring-loaded pin on the end of the handle will be inserted all the way through the base of the hitch ball, forming a strong, solid connection and ensuring absolute security when you're towing.
When you're done towing, remove the hitch ball by simply pulling the handle out as far as it will go and then rotating it clockwise until it unlatches. Remove the ball, flip it upside down, and drop it back into the ball hole of the hitch. Then reengage the latch to secure the stowed ball in place.
Unlike typical gooseneck balls - which have round bases - the Turnoverball hitch ball is designed with a square base. This makes latching the ball in the hitch easier because the base won't rotate inside of the hitch like a round base might, so lining the pin up is a snap. The base of the ball also fits tightly within the ball hole during storage. Because only the corners of the base contact the sides of the socket, any dirt or grime that gets into the hitch will fall through the socket, thus helping to prevent any buildup that could cause the ball to seize up in the hitch.
Simple, Custom Installation
This hitch is custom designed for your vehicle. The included mounting brackets bolt to existing holes in your truck's frame. While some modification is required - you will need to cut a 4" diameter hole in your bed for the hitch ball and drill holes for the built-in safety chain loops - there is no need to weld onto or to drill into your frame.
Once you have the hitch brackets and body installed, set up the operating handle. This handle is designed to be accessed from the rear driver's-side wheel well. On the end of the handle is the heavy-duty steel pin that secures the hitch ball.
B&W makes it easy to tow just about anything. With the many adapters and accessories available, the Turnoverball can be made to work with almost any gooseneck trailer. Hitch balls are available that have a built-in rise, an offset, and even a different connection type. Add on the Companion fifth-wheel hitch - which attaches directly to the Turnoverball with no other parts required - and you can tow your fifth-wheel trailer.

Square ball base won't turn in hitch.The B&W turnover ball system is the cleanest and most well thought out way to install a gooseneck ball into any truck on the market. while etrailer warned me that the firestone air spring kits (f2025) couldnt be used with an in bed hitch, they actually can and work in wonderful harmony. installation was a breeze. I would highly recommend both systems. as a sidenote, i needed this system delivered to me quickly around a holiday and etrailer came through!
This unit fit and bolted up just as it should. Directions were spot on. I have been very pleased with this B&W hitch. Etrailer was great to deal with and shipping was on time. Definitely recommend this product and etrailer!
Really liked the kit, had to notch the drivers side bracket to clear a factory bolt to clear the crossmember for the spare, also had to widen the front slot in the frame to get it to line up. One hole was in the center of the slot and the other one was maxed out on the left side, having both the frame holes in the bracket centered would have helped. The safety chain ubolt holes didn't line up with the valleys of the bed either one set was on the peaks and the other set was in between so i drilled new holes for a cleaner install. Overall good kit good hardware included. Was an easy install with minor modifications

Over the last year I have been recovering from a couple of major surgeries in the waning Covid era. When I ordered the hitch kit it was because of the diffulty finding a garage to install it. I grew up on a farm, in the farm equipment business, and learned to do most installations or repairs to our equipment. I got the kit, read the installation instructions, then installed it myself, even with some lingering effects from surgeries. I was especially surprised at the measuring instructions for cutting the hole in the middle of my
Chevy 3500 bed where the gooseneck ball would insert, it turned out to be perfect. I couldn't ask for more.

Purchased the B&W under the bed turnover gooseneck for 2018 F250 and could not be more pleased. This hitch has performed very well with no issues. I have used B&W in the past so the purchased was a no brainer. Customer service at etrailer is fantastic, no issues and always willing to go above and beyond to help. I had originally purchased a B&W for a different truck but decided to upgrade before the hitch arrived. Tiffany at B&W was fantastic and offered to exchange the hitch to accommodate the new purchase. Had this installed for almost a year. I pull a gooseneck multiple times a week. Could t be happier with the hitch.
Just installed it took about an hour me & my son 16 year old just bolted right up I didn’t have to cut anything out of my truck I didn’t have to lower my exhaust I didn’t have to do anything it was just bolt everything up drill the holes in the bed per the measurements which turned out perfect I even did have a bedliner on mine I am as happy as can be I have not used it yet but no issued for in-stall

This is a very well built product. Installation was straight forward. I've only used it a few times but it very convenient with the stow away ball. Good product, I would recommend.
