This hitch has a unique installation method where most of it mounts behind the rear bumper and is concealed behind a removable cover. This allows you to completely conceal it when you are not towing a trailer or using it for an accessory like a bike rack.
The etrailer Hitch item # e55ZR is custom fit and bolts to your Subaru with included hardware. It is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver that has a 5,000 lbs towing capacity and a 750 lbs maximum tongue weight.
If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C56040 and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
