Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 2013 Toyota Prius Plug-In Hybrid
Question:
I have a 2013 Toyota Prius Plug-In. Will all of the following hitches fit the Plug-In? Draw Tite 24847, Curt C11276, and Hidden Hitch 60263. Which is the recommended hitch for the car. What are the differences in these hitches, they all seem to have the same weight specs?

At this time, the only trailer hitch listed as a fit for the 2013 Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid is the Curt Class I Trailer Hitch, # C11276. The Draw-Tite and Hidden Hitch trailer hitches have not been confirmed to fit your vehicle.
The Curt hitch is very similar to the Draw-Tite and Hidden Hitch trailer hitches. The only significant difference is that Curt's warranty requires the use of a stabilization strap, like part # 18050, for all non-trailer loads such as bike racks or cargo carriers.
If you are interested in hauling a bike rack or cargo carrier, you will want to keep in mind that this is a Class I trailer hitch with a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening. This is important to remember when choosing hitch mounted accessories because not all accessories are rated for use in a Class I hitch.
If you would like a recommendation for a bike rack, cargo carrier or other hitch mounted accessory, let me know what you are looking for and I will be happy to make some recommendations.
