Wiring Harness Recommendation For 2013 GMC Acadia Without Factory Tow Package
Question:
A couple questions: 1. the writing mentions that the module draws power directly from the cars battery but in the picture I didnt see any extra wire for battery hookup. Does this occur through the fuses and relays that come with the product? 2. My car doesnt have a v92 factory tow package but it has the factory grey tow plug behind the wheel well. Will adding the provided relays and fuses in the recommended slots give me lights for towing a small trailer? I already have the after market hitch installed. Thanks for your help

If your 2013 GMC Acadia is not equipped with a factory tow package then you will want to install a wiring harness that has the powered converter. The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, part # 118270, you referenced can be used on vehicles with the factory tow package, or without the tow package. If your vehicle has the tow package then the included fuses would not be used. If you do not have the tow package then the fuses will need to be installed as the direction state.
If you wish to mount the 4-way trailer connector at the back of your Acadia I recommend the 4-Pole Flat Mounting Bracket, part # 18144. When installing electrical connections you should use a small amount of grease like part # 11755, to prevent corrosion.
I have attached a couple of helpful articles you may want to look at.
