Video Transcript for Review of CURT Fifth Wheel King Pin - Sidewinder Wedge - C27NR

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we can take a look at the Sidewinder Wedge for the Curt A Series Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitches. Now you'll bolt this wedge onto the underside of your sidewinder or revolution pin box to prevent the kingpin from rotating in your Curt A Series Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch. Now this custom wedge will bolt in place of the universal wedge that normally comes on those pin boxes. This is compatible with the second generation sidewinder model 68220 and basically what happens is when you use the included bolts here, you bolt this in place and it prevents that sidewinder or the revolution kingpin from pivoting in your hitch and as we mentioned, this works with the Curt A Series Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitches. It does resist corrosion, has a nice durable carbide black powder coat finish on it and includes everything shown here on the table, the wedge itself, two bolts, two washers and a nice set of instructions that'll describe how it all goes together.

But that should do it for the review on the Sidewinder Wedge for the Curt A Series Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitches.

Rotating pin boxes give you the best chance of making a 90 degree turn without the nose of the trailer hitting the cab of the truck. With a rotating pin box you won't have to get out of the truck at each tight turn to move the hitch into the maneuvering position and then again...
