Will The Hopkins Fifth Wheel Wiring Harness for a 2008 Dodge 3500 Keep the 7-Way at the Bumper

I have a 2008 Dodge 3500 Mega cab with the tow package, to maintain the use of the factory installed 7 pin plug at the rear of the vehicle, wont there need to be some type of a T-connector?

The Hopkins 5th wheel wiring harness # HM42137 acts as a T-connector. It will provide a 7-way trailer connector in the bed of your truck while retaining the one at the back too. This fits all 2008 Dodge trucks with factory installed 7-way connectors.
