To add a hitch to your 2024 Kia Forte, I recommend the Curt item # C55HR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Kia with included hardware. This is a class I hitch with a 1-1/4" receiver. It has a 2,000 lbs towing capacity and a 200 lbs maximum tongue weight.
I really like the Curt Hitch item # C55HR because the crosstube mounts behind your rear bumper leaving only the 1-1/4" receiver exposed. This not only looks better but it helps with ground clearance which is important with a car that sits so low to the ground.
Please note that this hitch only fits the sedan models. It will not fit the GT's.
If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C54ER and the Draw-Tite Drawbar item # 3593 and then for hitch balls item # 19258 for a 2 inch ball or item # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch ball.
