thinking of buying a 1969 shasta starflyte rv Pulling it with a 2019 GMC Canyon. Can you help with the correct hitch

For your 2019 GMC Canyon I recommend the etrailer class 3 hitch # e98909. This is a 2" receiver rated for towing 8,000 lbs and 800 lbs of tongue weight. A 1969 Shasta Starflyte should be around 2,500 lbs so this will be plenty strong for this purpose.
You can also use the Hopkins 7-way harness # HM11141144 for your trailer wiring.
