I recommend installing our etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e75ZR on your 2023 Toyota Highlander hybrid. This receiver has a matte black finish with hidden cross tube providing for a clean, factory appearance.
The Curt Upgraded Circuit Protected Powered Tail Light Converter # C59496 will allow you to install a 4-way flat connector. If you will need a 7-way connector the 7-Way Kit # ETBC7 will provide you with additional wiring needed to upgrade the 4-way above. It includes wiring as well for installing a Brake Controller # RED52VR. This controller will mount to your dash in one of the blank switch covers using the Panel # 331-TPSI-002.
