Will Trailer Hitch Weaken Bumper of 2015 Audi Q5
Question:
Will this hitch cause the bumper cover of my 2015 Q5 to be fragile? I know its flat, and the stock bumper is curved. Will the bumper be easily damaged without the curve to reinforce it? Id hate a minor rear end bump to become a major thing because of the hitch. Also, my 75 pound dog often stands or jumps on the bumper when he gets in and out of the car. Will the lack of reinforcement cause it to crack under normal pressure?

That's a good question but no, the bumper on your 2015 Audi Q5 will not be damaged more easily and will not be more fragile with the installation of the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75940.
The bumper support is directly replaced by the hitch, and in fact the bumper support is made of aluminum while the hitch is steel. So the hitch won't negatively affect you (or your pup getting in and out) of your Audi.
I also wanted to add that if you plan on doing some towing and need a 4-way the correct fit for your '15 Q5 is the Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56404.
