Can Trailer Tire 215/75-17.5 be Replaced with 235/75-17.5
Question:
I have a 2003 Featherlite 7 horse trailer model #8545. I bought it used, and the tire size is 215/75R17.5. I have had issues with tires blowing despite the fact the load, tire pressure, and speed limits are followed. I am wondering if I can move to a larger tire like the Provider 235/75R17.5 for this trailer to get a wider load margin for error?

You would be able to go to the larger tire size of 235/75R17.5 like the part # P35175 to replace what you have and you would have additional weight capacity which could help with the blow outs you are having. You did mention all of the usual suspects for what causes a blow out though so hopefully some additional capacity is the answer.
