Should Bright Way Push-to-Test ICU Trailer Breakaway Kit be Charged Initially
Question:
Hi Should this battery be charged initially? If so how do I go about charging the battery without taking it out of the box? Can I hook a battery charger up to my junction box’s power and ground wire? There will also be instances where the trailer will sit for months. Most of the winter. Should I charge it every now and then? I understand it has a charger built in but if it’s completely depleted will it work properly when towing or does it have to get a bit of a charge? Thank you

It would be a good idea to charge the Brightway kit part # BW94FR once you get it and then periodically when it is stored. To do that you would want to connect the black wire of the kit to the positive clamp and the white to the ground.
