Does Shackle Strap Need to be at an Angle With 26" Leaf Spring Installed

Question:

Hello experts! Jayco 2019 174BH. 3500 lb axle, I contacted Jayco and was told 26inch leaf spring lengths so that is what was purchased, double eye type. Installed one side and noticed my rear shackle had more of an angle towards the rear than before. My old leaf springs were not super flat but definitely needing replaced. Pictures attached, am I too far back on angle? Or should of went with shorter leaf spring. My research so far states I should be close to 45* to give spring room to flex and not bind up which I think Im pretty close to it. Appreciate any advice.

The orientation of the 26" 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 4,000-lb Trailer Axles # e22YR you have installed on your trailer looks just fine to me! You're correct that you want some angle for the shackles to help account for some flex in the suspension.
