Replacement AC Unit for Coleman on 2001 Winnebago Minnie Motor Home 31C
Question:
I have a 2001 Winnebago Minnie Motor Home, 31C. In the past I have purchased parts for towing a car from your company. This past weekendmy roof A/C unit stopped working. Now I am trying to decide if I need a replacement unit or just some parts replaced in my existing Coleman 8335896 A/C unit. Attached is the component break doewn from my parts manual for my 31C, labeled 131188-01-01A Attached are pictures of an exploded parts view as well as a starter relay that looks like it had overheated. item 15 on the parts break down I will need a new run capacitor, the letter on the part is covered in rust so I cant confirm the numbers item 12 on the break out I can confirm txhe part numbers on the o ther 2 capacitors/. A. Looking at the starter relay, would you say the unit is repairable? When I turn the unit on all I hear is a hum from the A/C. It ran on my generator in the afternoon but died at the campground. Im wondering if it was low volts/amps? B.What unit do you have to replace my existing A/C. My unit is a ducted air unit. Air feeds fron the A?C through a duct in the the ceiling. C. Would you have the parts Id need for a repair?

We do not carry the Coleman brand of AC units so we aren't able to get replacement parts. Only option we have would be a replacement AC unit like the Advent Air # ACCOL135 which was designed to replace Coleman units like you have. The wiring plugs right in using the same type of connector so the install is simple and it allows you to use your current thermostat and controls as well.
