Will Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs Fit 2022 Ford Explorer Timberline

Question:

I have a 2022 Ford Explorer Timberline with the Class IV towing package and 5,300 lb towing capacity. Im pulling a travel trailer with a UVW of 3,031 lbs and GVWR of 3,944 lbs. Im using a Reese WDH and have a littlebit of rearend sag. I was looking to use these airbags to help that. However, after looking at my rear coil mount bottoms, they appear to have about a 25° slant to them. Will the airbags function if the bottom of the coil bracket is slanted like that?

What you're seeing isn't that uncommon with the way the coil springs attach, and the air bags will still function properly. The Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs # AL87CD are confirmed to fit all models of the 2022 Ford Explorer as long as you don't have the factory air suspension system. These will help get you that extra support you're looking for to eliminate the rest of the rear sag.
