Jack Options for 2 x 2 Trailer Frame on Kwik Kamper Pop Up Camper with Storage Box on Front

Question:

I bought a used Kwik Kamper pop-up camper and love it, but I also have a back that I am protecting. The camper has stabilizer jacks. But it is awkward to move the trailer with them down. I let the tongue to the ground and nearly hurt my back trying to pick it up. I used a car jack to get it up where I was able to raise it onto my ball on the vehicle. Ive got a tight space for a tongue mounted trailer jack on a 2inch x 2inch frame, with about 17 inches of horizontal clearance, and 13inch from the bottom of the tongue to the ground. I would like to have a six inch wheel. It seems that most trailer jacks have brackets designed for 3inch to 5foot frame. Im looking at the Pull Pin, Easy Swivel Trailer Jack with 6inch Wheel - Sidewind - 1,000 lbs. by Dutton-Lainson DL22457. Does this have a bracket that would accomodate the 2inch x 2inch frame? Will it rotate on its center and nest below the storage box with the 17 inches available to it? See attached photo.

Thanks for sending in the pictures of your trailer.

The Dutton-Lainson Pull Pin, Easy Swivel Trailer Jack, # DL22457, that you mentioned will fit a 2 inch by 2 inch frame but I think that I may have a better option for your trailer. Take a look at the Xtreme Off-Road Ratcheting Trailer Jack # ORJW1SU. This jack has a large wheel and a ratcheting handle which make is easy to maneuver. The jack is also easily removable, so you could store it in your toolbox, you would just have to move your cat first so proceed at your own risk lol.

Part # DL22457 has a retracted height of 24 inches so it would interfere at the coupler as well as with the storage box.
