What is the distance from the mounting holes to the bottom of the side plates I have a lift hate on my truck and want to make sure it s down far enough and is the same distance on the side plates as the hitch I have on my truck now

According to B&W the side brackets are 6-1/4" tall for their Heavy-Duty Trailer Hitch Receiver # BWHDRH25124.

From the top of the mounting plates to the top of the B&W Heavy-Duty Trailer Hitch Receiver #BWHDRH25124 receiver is a 5-1/4" drop and then from the rearmost bolt hole to the end of the receiver is 10-7/8" (see attached).

Yes, check out the picture I attached that has the vertical distances from where the hitch mounts to the frame of the vehicle down to the hitch tube. Since you need at least 6 inches this would clear that by 1-3/8 inches.
